An opportunity has arisen for a Hand solderer to work in the development department within a leading Electronics Company based in Nottingham. As a Solderer PCB assembler you will have experience of hand soldering through hole and surface mount technologies.

Hand soldering a range of component parts, and performing the associated testing and inspection processes in a defined sequence from manufacturing documentation to achieve quality and productivity targets. The role has elements of working on small batches and special orders, a keen eye for detail and quality is essential. Ideally you will be IPC 610 certified or have an awareness of this certification.

The company offers onsite parking and a great working environment and utilises the latest state of the art equipment.
Paying a competitive rate of up to £9.20 per hour + Overtime.

An established shipping firm in Liverpool City is looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join them on a permanent basis. The working hours would be 2-10pm and the ideal candidate will have experience of working within international logistics or transport.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, Logistics Co-ordinator will be responsible for:

Coordinating all truck deliveries
Producing tracking and tracing reports
Coordinate reposition requests
Follow up on overdue equipment
Input rail billing

We`re currently looking for a number of keen and motivated people to join our Ambient team. Applications from our Staffline colleagues are very welcome; come join the team on a permanent basis. A range of shift patterns are available; these are:

Fixed early shift: any five from seven days, 6am to 2pm
Rotating shift: any five from seven days, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
Fixed night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am

Various early/late/night shifts available
Probation rate of £7.80ph, after probation £8.48ph

What will you be doing?

- Ensure all orders are picked and dispatched to the customer order and requirements
- Receive and put away stock in a timely and orderly manner with the use of MHE
- Load and despatch orders as instructed in line with given targets and key performance indicators
- Ensure that any issues are escalated to management at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure warehouse procedural controls and processes are maintained in line with Health & Safety and good working practices
- Operate MHE safely, responsibly and as instructed
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately
- Report any damage to products or packaging to management
- Actively make suggestions for packaging and labeling

What are we looking for?

- Experienced Warehouse Operatives with reach truck experience, VNA would be desirable
- Experience in LLA food would be an advantage however full training will be provided
- You`ll need excellent performance, attendance and time-keeping record, along with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills
- Experienced FLT driver with and experience of VNA is desirable
- As the warehouse operates 24/7 you must have flexibility in your approach to work, as shift and weekend working will be required

Our client are a large utilities based company looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their team. Your role will be managing planned and unplanned gas and electric metering work for a team of around 30 metering technicians.

To ensure the smooth and efficient running of a region containing up to 30 metering technicians. Each day you will monitor your meter technicians work schedule, with the aim of ensuring that each customer appointment is attended within the allotted timescale. Spotting any customer appointments that are at risk of missing the allotted timescale.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitoring your meter technicians and their customer appointments throughout the working day.
* Managing jeopardy for all metering appointments within your region.
* Managing appointments that arrive on the day as a priority.
* Ensure effective and efficient utilisation of team resource to planned work.
* Ensure all meter technicians who are due to work are signed on at their allocated shift start times and contacting them directly if not. Responsible for reporting any unanswered calls or absenteeism directly to the Scheduling Manager.
* The role requires logical thinking to potentially problematic situations.
* Forming good working relationships with your metering technicians and peers.
* Monitor meter technicians appointments progress and ensure all appointments have been returned each day from their Hand Held Unit (HHU).
* If a meter technician has a failure of their HHU the scheduler is responsible for capturing the outcomes of their days work and updating the scheduling system accordingly.
* Any unplanned meter technician absences will potentially generate additional customer appointments. The scheduler is responsible for redistributing these appointments. If the scheduler is unable to redistribute the appointments they need to escalate to the scheduling manager.
* Handling inbound / outbound telephone calls from the operational field.
* To perform any other task commensurate with the role.
* To undertake any necessary training associated with the position
* It will be necessary to work with information technology and associated systems and, it will be necessary to maintain confidentiality and to observe data protection guidelines.
* Oracle experience is preferred but not essential.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm; with the flexibility of working on certain late shifts 2pm to 10pm

Salary is £16,000 which in October 2017 goes up to £17,576

The role advertised here is the Associate Geo-Environmental Director’s position based in my client’s Glasgow office. The main aim of the role is to aid in the company’s development and progression as it continues to expand by, designing projects, writing accurate reports and managing projects from start to completion.

The Associate Director’s position demands a vast level of experience in both geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering. It is essential that applicants have a BSc and MSc in a relevant subject, also having a PhD is desired. To fully utilise the role it is essential that applicants are either chartered or are working towards a chartered status.

The Associate Geo-Environmental Director’s duties include: Planning, budgeting, and managing all aspects of a given project, preparation of consortium bids, using personal experience to improve the performance of the team, client management, marketing initiatives, ensuring designs are completed to the highest quality, carrying out your own designs, making sure projects are kept to regulation standard, training of staff, leading teams and acting as a technical expert to clients and regulators.

Other essential geo-environmental experience includes the ability to: coordinate the design of geotechnical / environmental projects, carrying out own designs for earthworks, foundations, slope stability, imparting your own knowledge on land remediation, land reclamation and interpreting complex reports and designs.

To carry out the design activities the role demands it is essential that applicants are confident at using the following software: CONSIM, MODFLOW, RBCA, SLOPE, VDSP, STAWAL and WALLOP.

Applicants must have a full UK Driver’s Licence.
